Why Rules for Schools?

As a former middle and high school principal—and now a Principal Supervisor and practicing attorney—I’ve spent my career at the intersection of leadership, culture, and the law. I write these rules because every student deserves a school experience that is engaging, supportive, and worthy of their potential. Judges write rules to clarify how statutes should be interpreted; I write rules to clarify how schools can build systems where students and teachers feel heard, valued, and empowered.
